"World Hospice & Palliative Care Day" was celebrated at Community Oncology Center, Vasna in presence of all staff, Gujarat Cancer Society members & Karunalaya Staff and patients. It was an entertainment and educational program for patients, Family members & staff of all organization. "Ek Sangh" a group preformed a play on "Cancer is not Cancel!" It had message on early detection of Cancer Breast is possible.
Community Oncology center staff performed a comedy skit, giving message on regular health check up. Dr Anuradha from Dept of Pain & Palliative Medicine recited a touchy poetry narrating her feelings for patients. Shri Prashantbhai Kinariwala, Dr D D Patel, Dr Chirag Shah, Dr Geeta Joshi, Dr Kiran C Kothari, Dr Beena Patel, Shri Deevyesh Radia, Mr N T Chavda were present on the occasion."
